PAN Jiaofeng, Institutes of Science and Development at Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD)

PAN Jiaofeng is a senior researcher and the president of Institutes of Science and Development at Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD), and a professor and the president of School of Public Policy and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He leads and conducts research in the fields of science and technology strategy, innovation policy, and think tank science and engineering. He and his team first proposed the Double Helix Methodology in 2020, to unravel think tank problems and for think tanks to better engage in scientification and advance towards disciplinization amidst the formation of think tank science and engineering. He has authored more than 200 research articles, reports, and policy recommendations, and edited more than 10 books.
